Foam Polyethylene Films (EPE) - Release Films

Y-22 is a high quality blown film closed cell foamed layer material suitable for surface protective application in glass or polymer boards industries. It is made from non-toxic food grade low density polyethylene (LDPE) resins thru heat foaming process. All ingredients used in Y-22 are approved for unrestricted food contact and conform to US FDA CFR Title 21 section 177.1520 and RoHS.

Due to its excellent waterproof, mold resistant, dimension stability, and acids, bases, alcohols resistant properties, Y-22 is used for non-aggressive applications in optoelectronic or panel industries as a releasing layer. It is also available in its co-extruded form where PE resins are co-extruded along the two sides of the core foaming structure to provide a smoother surface.
